The story is talk about a newly admitted to driving the 18-year-old high school student--Takumi Fujiwara.He usually work for a gas station.On the surface,he is no same ideas in car.So his friends who likes car aways laught at him.But in privately,Takumi driving car since 13, his father require he to help him to send tofu every morning. SoTakumi has to drive car to the top of the mountain and has a lot of driving experience.Once time, Takumi was sleeping when he was driving, so he break all of the tofu.his father was angry and fight him. After that,his father put a cup of water in the car and ask him don`t let the water overflow.Takumi dosen`t understand but he drives safetly and the speed fast than before.
One night,Takumi send tofu as usually,but he unconsciously win Takeshi Nakazato who is driving modified car. After that，professional drivers and the other drivers want to hve competitions with him.When everyone is thinking Takumi`s AE86 can`t win, Takumi win with his excellent driving skills.He become famouse in his city. After that,he organize a country expedition team with his original opponent Takahashi Ryosuke and Takahashi Keisuke.They called the Project D and go on an expedition out side of the other mountain road.
It`s a passionate movie.It`s very popular in teenager.I think the film is as successful as the cartoon.Althought it become old for now,it will be eternal for our teenager.I never forget Takumi`s father said''One day, he told me everything was very slowly when he saw everything, i took him to see a doctor but it didn`t matter,from
then on, i knew that is not everything are slowly,is he become faster." Takumi`s father is very strict to Takumi,but he is proud of his son.when he hear his son want to organize a country expedition team,he is smiling.I can feel the Father loves and i felt moving.
