My new flat :)

Being new in London has been a little difficult because there are many things that are different from Colombia, one of them is my new flat. At first I didn´t like it too much, but over time I like it more because it is spacious, comfortable and beautiful.

My flat has two levels. In the first level are the kitchen, the biggest bedroom and my bathroom. The kitchen is very big and it is composed of one wood table, two freezers, an electric stove and a washing machine. Next to it is my bathroom, which I really like it because although it is small is always clean. And in front of my bathroom is my favorite room, because is the biggest one of the house and has a huge mirror, unfortunately is not mine!.

The second level is composed by my flats´mates bedroom, and next to it is my bedroom. Those two rooms are small but very comfortable, besides there are amazing people in there. My
flats´mates name are Hanane who is french, Sam who is english and Nohora who is colombian and is my roommate.

My flat also has a small but cosy terrace with a barbecue and some chairs. It is a great place and we are planning to have a barbecue in these days.

Although it is different from my flat in my country, I´m getting used to it and I think I´m very lucky to live there and have new experiences.

the wonderful couch

I have lived in my flat since the end of the March. There are 5 people, 2 British, 1 Spanish and 2 Japanese (including me), in our flat. The flat is not too big, too small, very comfortable to live with 5 people. There is always some full-fat milk in our refrigerator because I drink hotmilk almost everyday and one of my flatmates, he is real British, has taken about 8 cups of tea in a day. One TESCO express is near from our flat. We can also use Morrisons or another big TESCO on foot. I can see our small garden from the window in my room. Sometimes, the cat which was called Joey is taking a walk there. My favorite room is... oh, it's difficult to choose one from my room or the living room. The couch in the living room is really nice. Once I sit on it, I always need to make big effort to stand up again. I'm happy to live here, really. Mirai Ikei

Ana Lis Soares - My spacious flat

My flat in London is a quite good. I really like my flatmates and the time that we enjoy there! We are get used to stay in the kitchen and spend a lot of time there talking about our lives, our experiences in Europe and something like that. I’m very interested in cooking... So, I cook differents dishes for us as well. (To be honest everybody loves it!).

I share my bedroom with two girls (both are brazilians, but from different states than each other), actually. We have a suite very spacious and comfortable. I like the colour of the walls in my bedroom – they are blue and white that makes me “in peace”. Besides the walls, I’m falling in Love with my bathroom which has a nice glass shower and a mirror in front of the toilet.

My flat is organized and personallity I thing that it has a enough space for everybody! I like it and I’ve been enjoying my life in London outside and indoor!

Hello.
My Flat is located in Kensington, it´s a beautiful zone in London, I live with my Spanish friend and her son. It has 2 bedrooms, 1 livingroom, 1 kitchen and 1 bathroom. My favourite space of my flat is the living room, It´s quite big but not huge, there is a big window through you can see a beautiful garden, it has a comfortable sofa, one coffee table and a big tv. I like this room. When my friends came we have a good time, we have a dinner and we play games or we watch a movie.

x'mas present (*the last topic)

When I was a child, my younger sister and I used to receive gifts from Santa Clause on Christmas, mostly. (One year, he didn't come because of his finance. This is why I used 'mostly'. What's more the fact was that the person who answered the phone from Santa was our grand mother.) We used to write a letter to Santa about what we want and post it into mailbox in our home. At that time, we really wanted to get a hamster because our lovely hamsters had just been dead. We kept writing 'a hamster' on our list for a few years, but one day, father said, 'I think.. Santa couldn't visit with a hamster.' so, we gave up. Anyway, we have given many gifts from Santa except the hamster. One year, the gift was a small board game for hockey, other time it was the sock which was full of colorful pens. We really enjoyed x'mas time.
By the way, .. when was the last x'mas which Santa visited for us.

p.s. I found my unfinished writing. Sorry for late posting!! mirai

Teddy Bear

The last present i received was a little teddy bear from my girlfriend, the name of the teddy bear is "Filipo", he is a cute, tiny and yellow, he is kind of chubby too, he has a big smile in his face and when you press his belly he sounds.

Filipo was one of her favourites teddy bears in her collection, she gave it to me the day I traveled to London, because she wanted to give me something she love and something that mattered too much for her, to make me feel her around me... even if she is not here, to make me feel her close to me, and to remind me that I have someone who loves me and is waiting for me... waiting for the day we will be together again.
