A day in a Judge life…

can be as boring as exciting depending on the case to treat…

When I wake up, I go cycling to the Courts because it is not too far from home, and it is a very special time for me to think about many things that otherways I could not do.

The judgements used to be on Mondays thus every weekend I study them deeply.

Every day, is as similar as different, that other day can be, because if I just work on the cases that some day I will solve, it becomes in a private and particular study, however if it is Monday, the day can be amazing, even strange.

Therefore the more strange it is the more exciting it becomes. When that happens is because there something new to confront, and specially because there something which is needing that I must interfere in. (And not whatever way).

The hearings used to be the most “interesting” part of the process, you can feel how the people is, and you must be alert to any gesture they do; for you will be able to make a decision “objective” taken…

More or less, with any detail, is how a Judge could spend one day.

Any comments about the under pression that we are, has been done, because finally, everybody knows what kind of job it is, and if not, they can imagine it.

Today I am really happy. It was hard to reach, and even more to work on it, but when you go back home and remind how the day was, you can be proud of yourself for doing the law as it should be, or at least, for trying it.
